Beginning with the lowest, an interested franchisee can avail DTDC courier franchise by investing ₹75,000 within an area of 75 square feet. There are other options too, wherein a franchisee can partner with the brand by investing ₹1 lakh to ₹1.5 lakhs.
This is the most common and basic form of the franchise in the DTDC system, covering more than 95 percent of its courier franchise network and contributes to 75 percent of its business. This type of franchise represents a small territory or a particular pin-code. They are responsible for the development of the business and serving the customers within a limited territory.
DTDC courier Master franchise represents a franchise-operated unit in an area within the city limits of the Regional Office, with one or more of the reporting franchises under its purview. In addition to the role of the Single Unit Franchise, the DTDC courier Master Franchise is responsible for operations and development of the other franchises within its territory.
DTDC courier Super franchise represents a franchise-operated unit in an independent territory or district within a region, with one or more reporting franchises. It acts as an extended branch that is responsible for business development, operations and servicing of the clients. They are a key member of the system and the appointment procedure for Super Franchise is different from the two franchisee categories mentioned above.
An experienced individual from the logistics industry, with basic office infrastructure, an investment capacity and business contacts with corporate houses, is eligible to become a DTDC courier Corporate Franchise to promote its products and services. This is a highly specialised form of franchisee, which the company appoints selectively.
